store-bought, good quality waffles, cut into triangles
about 50-80 g good quality milk or dark chocolate, broken into pieces
a pinch of ground cloves
1,25 ml (¼ tsp) ground cinnamon or to taste
1-2 JAZZ™ apples in the skin
fresh mint leaves, to garnish

  1. Heat waffles as per packaging instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, place the chocolate in a bowl and slowly melt it over a gently simmering pot of water. Once melted, season to taste with spices.
  3. Cut apples into quarters, and then thinly slice them into small triangles. Rinse slices in cold water to prevent them from turning brown and pat dry with a paper towel.
  4. Thread the waffles onto small skewer sticks, top with apple slices, and drizzle with the melted chocolate mixture. Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve with the rest of the apple slices and chocolate sauce.

Tip

  1. Replace chocolate sauce with a chocolate nut spread of your choice.
