  • 2 JAZZ™ apples
  • ¼ cup cinnamon sugar (1/4 cup powdered sugar plus 1 tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
  • 12 slices white or wheat bread
  • 4 T of butter, melted


  1. Wash JAZZ™ apples and pat dry.
  2. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F and line a tray with baking paper.
  3. Peel and core apples and then cut into small, diced pieces.
  4. Toss JAZZ™ apples with 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon sugar and lemon zest.
  5. Cut the crusts off the bread then using a rolling pin, roll out the bread to flatten out evenly.
  6. Divide the apple between the bread slices and roll up to enclose the filling.
  7. Arrange the roll-ups on the lined baking tray and brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy. Allow to cool for a few minutes before eating as the filling will be very hot.
