  • 4 large JAZZ™ apples
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 T lemon Juice
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)


  1. Cut JAZZ™ apples in 1/8 inch comb-shaped wedges and remove cores.
  2. Place apple pieces in saucepan. Add sugar and lemon juice. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.
  3. Put a lid on the saucepan. Place saucepan over heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and let it cool down.
  4. Store in refrigerator.
  5. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
