INGREDIENTS
- 4 large JAZZ™ apples
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 2 T lemon Juice
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Cut JAZZ™ apples in 1/8 inch comb-shaped wedges and remove cores.
- Place apple pieces in saucepan. Add sugar and lemon juice. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.
- Put a lid on the saucepan. Place saucepan over heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and let it cool down.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
