Makes 1

Ingredients

  • 2 JAZZ™ Apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 11-inch pie crust, at room temperature
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 egg white

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. If you don’t have parchment paper, make sure you spray the baking sheet
  3. In a medium bowl, combine sliced JAZZ apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Gently stir to coat apples.
  5. Arrange JAZZ apple slices on top of dough, try making a circle pattern. Leave a 1–1 ½ inch border around the edge.
  6. Fold the edges towards the center. Repeat until all edges are folded towards the apple slices.
  7. Whisk egg white in a small bowl; brush over the crust edges.
  8. Bake for approximately 40 minutes so the edges are golden brown and the apples are soft.
  9. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
