The August bank holiday is behind us and the summer holidays are coming to an end but it’s not all doom and gloom as the start of the UK JAZZ™ Apple season is on the horizon.
You may now begin to notice some English grown apples in your supermarkets but with JAZZ™ being one of the later croppers you will have to wait a little longer yet as the first beauties are expected at the beginning of November. But this doesn’t mean they are any less tastier though, and after winning the ‘UK’s Tastiest Apple’ title last year we’ll be hoping to do the double this year and take home the crown once more.
In the UK, JAZZ™ Apples are currently grown in Suffolk, Kent, Herefordshire and Sussex by our legion of amazing growers under a closely controlled quality growing programme. To help launch the new season apples we will once again be heading to Birmingham for the Christmas edition of the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC so if you’d like to get your teeth into a crispy JAZZ™ Apple then be sure to buy your ticket early. It’s a foodie fun-filled extravaganza and one event which we’d hate to miss out on as it’s so great to see so many familiar faces and spread the JAZZ™ name even further. If you’d like to join us then go to the BBC Good Food Show website for more information and to purchase advanced tickets.
