They say good things come in threes and that’s certainly the case this month for the JAZZ™ Apple Foundation as we have a trifecta of great news to share with you.
Firstly we received some fantastic information from our star golfer Dan Smith recently when he announced he was turning professional and will now be competing on the Europro tour. Dan was one of the first recipients of a JAZZ™ Apple Foundation award when it was set up in 2014 and has quickly risen the ranks of the sport, representing his county Kent and playing in competitions around Europe. We’re sure you will see Dan’s name on the back of the sports pages soon and dazzling us with his skills on TV but in the meantime the Foundation wishes him the best of luck for the future.
The next piece of juicy information to reveal comes in the shape of a new JAZZ™ Apple Foundation awardee and we’re thrilled to announce that the organisation receiving it is Spalding Cricket Club. The much-loved community cricket club is a hotbed for young local talent and we’re delighted to be able to purchase a new bowling machine for their junior teams. The club unveiled their latest arrival at a game last month and the kids were bowled over with the new machine and the delicious JAZZ™ Apples that came with it. Once again we’re over the moon to be supporting individuals and organisations who promote healthy eating and exercise.
Last but certainly not least is another hero the JAZZ™ Apple Foundation is proud to support – Adrian Lazell – who is cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats this month to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Adrian has been training solidly on the road over the last few months and when we heard of his challenge we were more than happy to support him. You can also help Adrian hit his target by visiting his fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Adrian-Lazell4.
