We’re back from four fantastic days in Birmingham at the winter edition of the BBC Good Food Show and would like to thank each and every person who visited our stand at the show and bought or sampled our new season UK JAZZ™ Apples over its duration.
The event is always extra special for us as it coincides with the start of the UK JAZZ™ Apple season and their availability in shops up and down the country. We also had the pleasure of having legendary JAZZ™ Apple grower Simon Bray on our stand to talk about why he loves growing the variety so much. Simon recently won the Garden of England Champion Kent’s Tastiest Apple 2020 prize at the National Fruit Show so is the ideal person to discuss the award-winning credentials of a JAZZ™ Apple and what it takes to be an expert apple grower.
The BBC Good Food Show ran from November 28th to December 1st with over 100,000 consumers attending looking to catch a glimpse of some of the nation’s favourite celebrity chefs and indulge in some festive shopping and inspiration. With over 450 food and drink products and brands on show, the flagship event is a foodie’s paradise and the perfect day out with friends and family.
The JAZZ™ Apple stand was once again one of the most popular with crowds of people flocking over to get a taste of the ‘UK’s Tastiest Apple’ and pick up the must-have gadget of the show – a JAZZ™ Apple Slicer – and a glamourous JAZZ™ Apple Shopper Bag. Over the duration of the show, we sold and sampled a whopping 60,000 delicious and fresh JAZZ™ Apples so we are pretty confident it was a big thumbs up for this year’s new season crop.
We’re delighted to reveal we’ll be back in Birmingham in June for the BBC Good Food Summer Show and would love to see as many of you there as possible. Tickets for the fun-filled event are now on sale by visiting the BBC Good Food website.
