Makes – Enough for 6 burgers
Recipe cost: £7.16 (£1.19 per serving)
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 JAZZ™ Apple, grated
500g minced pork
30g fresh coriander, finely chopped (leaves and stalks)
1 red chilli, finely sliced
1 egg, beaten
6 burger buns
6 lettuce leaves
1 tomato
Sriracha mayonnaise, to taste
Sea salt
Neutral oil for frying

Instructions

Add the grated JAZZ™ Apple to a large bowl, alongside the pork, coriander, chilli and beaten egg. Season with salt and mix well to combine.

Divide the mixture into 6 and roll into large meatballs.

Add a splash of oil to a large pan and heat until shimmering. Add one meatball at a time and smash down to form a thin burger patty. Do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Cook over a medium heat for two minutes, then gently flip. Continue to cook for another two minutes, or until the burgers are cooked through.

Serve either a single patty or two on burger buns with sliced tomato, lettuce and a drizzle of Sriracha mayonnaise.
