Ingredients
2-3 JAZZ Apples
½ cup milk chocolate buttons
20 mini marshmallows, halved
20 currants or raisins, cut into quarters
Chocolate sprinkles (optional)

 

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate until smooth and liquid.
  2. Halve the mini marshmallows and poke a little piece of currant into the centre to make the eyes and set aside.
  3. Cut the apples into thin slices through the core to make round discs.
  4. For each bat take one smaller slice of apple and cut in half then cut scallop shapes using a cookie cutter or knife to make the wings.
  5. Take another bigger slice (from the centre of the apple) and cut an M shape in the top to make the head & ears
  6. Add a small dollop of chocolate to the main headpiece and smooth over the ears, attach the wings and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
  7. Add the mini marshmallow eyes positioned between the wings.
  8. Arrange on a platter and set in the fridge until serving.
