We’re thrilled to announce that we’re joining forces with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) again at this year’s Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim.
Hailed as one of Europe’s largest open water swimming events, this year’s swim takes place on Saturday 29th June with over 1,500 swimmers ready to take to the water to raise money for the heart charity.
This will be the fourth time we’ve sponsored the event, which will see participants taking on the 1.4-mile challenge between Boscombe and Bournemouth Pier.
Since it was first held in 1992, more than 34,000 people have taken the plunge into the English Channel for the British Heart Foundation, helping to raise more than £3.6m for research into treatments and cures for heart and circulatory diseases.
The JAZZ™ Apple team will be on hand to help cheer swimmers over the finish line and also be handing out goody bags packed with delicious, tangy-sweet JAZZ™ Apples and a finisher’s t-shirt for participants in need of a refreshing lift.
We can’t wait to see all of our swimmers at the finish line on the 29th June. There are still places available for those wanting a personal challenge so visit the BHF website for more information or to sign up.
