The JAZZ™ Apple Foundation is showing no signs of slowing down and that definitely goes for our new awardee Shara Jones who is running the Great North Run this month in aid of Heart Research UK. Keen runner Shara has already completed the London Marathon in the past and has now set her sights on raising £2,000 to go to fund ground-breaking research projects across the UK to develop new treatments and procedures which help patients across the country.
Heart Research, which is celebrating its 50th year, has funded ground-breaking research projects worth over £12million in the last 10 years and along with Shara is exactly the right type of people the JAZZ™ Apple Foundation was set up to support.
