The British JAZZ™ Apple season may be drawing to a close but for our legendary growers the hard work is only just beginning as they ensure next season’s crop is just as bountiful and delicious. The arrival of Spring brings with it an abundance of colour and that is no different for our trees as they enter blossom time.
The bud burst stage has now finished and the flower buds have opened to reveal beautiful pink flowers. The trees are blooming with vibrant blossoms and it’s one of our favourite sights. It’s slightly earlier than usual this year but you can’t control Mother Nature so we’ve got our fingers and toes crossed that a late frost won’t cause any issues with pollination and this year’s harvest.
