Ingredients
2-3 JAZZ Apples
½ cup milk chocolate buttons
20 mini marshmallows, halved
20 currants or raisins, cut into quarters
Chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Directions
- Melt the chocolate until smooth and liquid.
- Halve the mini marshmallows and poke a little piece of currant into the centre to make the eyes and set aside.
- Cut the apples into thin slices through the core to make round discs.
- For each bat take one smaller slice of apple and cut in half then cut scallop shapes using a cookie cutter or knife to make the wings.
- Take another bigger slice (from the centre of the apple) and cut an M shape in the top to make the head & ears
- Add a small dollop of chocolate to the main headpiece and smooth over the ears, attach the wings and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
- Add the mini marshmallow eyes positioned between the wings.
- Arrange on a platter and set in the fridge until serving.
