Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 500g of Haggis
  • 1 JAZZ™ Apple (Peeled, cored and grated)
  • 4 large White Potatoes (Peeled and chopped)
  • 100g Cheese
  • 200g Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 Vegetable Stock Cube
  • 1 tsp Curry Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Garlic Clove (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 Onion (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 knob of Butter
  • 1 tsp of Vegetable Oil


  1. Heat the vegetable oil in large pan over a medium heat before adding the onion and garlic and allow to brown and soften.
  2. Then add the haggis and cook for a few minutes before adding the salt, pepper, paprika, curry powder and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add the tomatoes and a stock cube and cook for about 8 – 10 minutes on low heat.
  4. Boil potatoes for 15 minutes until soft and then leave to drain. Mash the potatoes with the grated JAZZ™ Apple and a knob of butter until smooth.
  5. Once the haggis is cooked, transfer into an ovenproof dish and top with the potato and apple mash before sprinkling with grated cheese.
  6. Bake for about 10 – 15 minutes at 200° until the top is golden brown.
  7. Serve with boiled vegetables and a wee dram.
