This smoothie is a ray of sunshine made with JAZZ™ Apple, orange, banana, carrot, lemon, fresh ginger & turmeric and it tastes absolutely delicious! Ingredients: (Serves 1)

1 frozen or fresh banana
1 JAZZ™ Apple
1 carrot
1 orange – peeled
The juice of 1/2 lemon
A small piece of fresh ginger & turmeric (if you can’t find them fresh use 1/4 tsp of ground instead)
A pinch of black pepper (to activate the turmeric)
A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
2 cups of water to blend

Method

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If you are not using frozen bananas you might want to serve it with some ice cubes as smoothies always taste better when cold.
