JAZZ™ is a relatively new apple, developed and licensed by ENZA in New Zealand and launched internationally in 2003. Now, it is available year-round in North America, from Washington growers from mid-autumn through early spring, and New Zealand growers from spring through mid-autumn.

In 2002 the World Apple Report pinpointed JAZZ™ as the most significant new apple variety destined to succeed. As existing trees mature, and growers worldwide plant more, volumes will grow, eventually bringing JAZZ™ to produce aisles year-round.
